EUSD UPDATES

Dear Families,

As we prepare for Thanksgiving Break next week, I want to express my deep gratitude for our EUSD family and community. It is a tradition in our family to go around the Thanksgiving table to share what we are grateful for with others in our family. I am grateful to have the privilege to serve in the role of Superintendent in such an exceptional community. The joy, care, and support shown by our staff, families, and students is felt daily. I sincerely hope your break is filled with moments of gratitude and joy for you and your families. Whether you are staying local or traveling, may you be safe and healthy.

Warmly,

Andrée Grey, Ed.D.

THIS WEEK'S SPOTLIGHT IS ON LA COSTA HEIGHTS!

La Costa Heights 5th-grade students hosted a Global Water Crisis Fundraiser for National Tolerance Day on Thursday, November 16th, each class worked together to collectively walk a mile carrying 5-gallon jerry cans full of water, each weighing 40 pounds. Not only did students build empathy, but they also built a better understanding and awareness of the global water crisis.  The 5th graders created a fundraiser for the event with a goal to raise $12,000.00 that will go toward building a well in South Sudan through the non-profit LLC, Water for South Sudan.  If you would like to help them reach their goal, please click this link: https://www.paypal.com/donate?hosted_button_id=SSX932HYPXQVS
