Dear Families,
As we embark on this last week before Winter Break, the joy is truly evident! It can be seen, heard and felt across our campuses and playgrounds. I am struck by the richness of the many traditions and celebrations being shared that truly help students and families not only build community, but that also broaden our students' views of the world.
We feel such a sense of gratitude for the many ways our families have supported our community this December. Your participation and involvement in activities, celebrations, assemblies and projects means so much and helps to build a richer experience for our students.
I want to take a moment to extend warm wishes to each and every one of you this holiday season. Regardless of the traditions you celebrate, this time of year offers a unique opportunity for reflection, connection, and rejuvenation.
Wishing you a peaceful and restful holiday season.
Warmly,
Andrée Grey, Ed.D. Superintendent

EUSD BRIGHT SPOTS! EUSD values Joy, Belonging, Integrity, Service and Innovation
|
On November 16th, Paul Ecke Central celebrated its annual Grandparents and Special Guest Day. The day began with students singing for the guests in the MPR. Music included songs that spanned several generations and was an absolute hit with the attendees. A student from each grade level read an essay on why their grandparent or special guest is important in their life. Finally, all the attendees were invited back to the classrooms where students proudly showed off recent learning, walked guests through a typical day, and participated in other activities. All in all, it was a day full of joy and gratitude for all of those involved. PEC is already looking forward to next year!
